Basic Cutting

How It Works

• Choose Your slab(s): Pick from our range, i.e natural riven slate, honed slate, or brushed slate, black limestone  or grey limestone

• Provide Your Dimensions: We'll cut the slab into a square or rectangle based on your dimensions, accurate to within +/- 2mm

• Clean Cuts: All edges will have a machine-cut, straight edge.

• Finishing Touch Upgrade 

  • All edges eased  - removes the sharp edge 

  • All sides are honed - removes the saw marks

  • Pro Clean  & Seal - the slate is  cleaned with K30 cleaner and sealed with Stovax Slate Oil

Do you require more advanced customisation?
For example, shaped hearths with more edge profile options

This requires our advanced cutting and fabrication service - this is best suited for T Shape, Circles, Tear Drop etc. 

This service is designed to be simple, cost-effective and quick.  The following is not included :

1. Whilst most slabs can be cut, there may be some cases where some sizes are not offered 

2. We will only cut shapes that are square or rectangular

The basic cutting charge is as follows :

1. First cut £60 

2. Each additional cut is £25

Example

You buy a stock-sized 1200 x 900 x 20mm slab and want it cut to 1200 x 800 x 20mm - this is 1 cut  / £60 

You buy a stcok sized 1200 x 900 x 20mm slab and want it cut to 1100 x 800 x 20mm - this is 2 cuts / £85
